The house has eight spacious private suites, each with their own half bath, built within a barrier free environment. A state-of-the-art bathing room is available for residents who can still perform those tasks. For those who cannot, our specially trained staff is ready to assist. In addition, there are four large public areas to accommodate group activities. Our homes are designed and constructed for comfort and easy navigation for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
Specially designed Victorian furniture is used throughout. Building and program design maximize independence and dignity. Cuing by staff, program and environment constantly remind residents where they are.
Way finding assistance is available throughout the home. Purposeful tasks, physical activities and mental stimulation are provided in a failure free way.
